SAMA’s assets drop SAR 16B to SAR 1.89T in June

Assets held by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) shrank by SAR 16 billion month-on-month (MoM) to nearly SAR 1.89 trillion in June.

Compared to June 2023, SAMA’s assets grew by around SAR 62.7  billion, according to data released by SAMA. 

SAMA’s investments in foreign securities, which represent around 54.4% of its total assets, increased by nearly 1.3% year-on-year (YoY) to around SAR 1.03 billion in the same month.
