SAMA’s assets reach SAR 1.93 trln in July 2019

Assets held by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA), the Kingdom’s central bank, decreased by SAR 29.5 billion month-on-month to about SAR 1.932 trillion in July 2019, new data released by the central bank showed.

 

When compared to the same month last year, assets rose SAR 12.6 billion.

SAMA’s investments in foreign securities, which account for 61 percent of its total assets, declined to around SAR 1.191 trillion in July, compared to 1.196 trillion a year earlier.
