The National Agriculture Development Co. (Nadec), one of the largest Saudi agricultural and food-processing firms, reported a net profit of SAR 141.3 million for the 2015 fiscal year, marking a 31.8 percent year-on-year (YOY) jump, which the company mainly attributed to a 14 percent rise in sales revenue and a 9.2 percent increase in dairy and food processing sector.

Nadec’s Q4-2015 net profit amounted to SAR 34.4 million; a 71.7 percent leap compared to SAR 20.02 million in the same quarter in 2014, due to higher sales revenue and an improved gross margin. However, profit for the period was 24.8 percent lower when compared to the previous quarter.
