TASI rises 0.3%; Maharah hits limit up on debut
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose marginally on Tuesday to close 0.3 percent, or 25 points, higher at 9,000 points.
Total turnover reached SAR 5.3 billion, while advance-decline ratio stood at 99-64.
Market Index
Blue chip SABIC rose 0.3 percent to close at SAR 119, while Al Rajhi gained 1 percent to close at SAR 71.50.
Maharah went limit to close at SAR 75.90 on its debut.
Al Akaria moved up 1 percent to SAR 12.28 after the general assembly approved the board’s recommendation to hold off on issuing a cash dividend for fiscal year 2018.
Chemanol, KEC and Nadec surged between 3 and 4 percent.
Company Prices
Petchem major Petrochem lost 1.2 percent to close at SAR 25.30, while bank Alinma fell 1.1 percent to SAR 24.60.
Al Gassim Investment was the top decliner, falling 2.9 percent to SR 12.12.
