TASI sheds 0.8% to 10,831 points; turnover at SAR 12.2 bln

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 0.8%, or 82 points, to 10,831 points today, June 15.

Total turnover stood at SAR 12.2 billion, while advance-decline ratio stood at 69:111.

Blue chip SABIC fell 1.1% to close at SAR 123.20.

Raydan shed 0.7% to SAR 35.35. The company signed a franchise agreement with Golden Star Establishment for Ready Meals in Cairo, Egypt.

Chemical declined 1.4% to SAR 39.65. The firm extended by 90 days the exclusive memorandum of understanding signed with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics to form a joint venture for logistic services.

National Gypsum was the top decliner, falling 3.2% to SAR 49.55.

On the other hand, Malath Insurance went almost limit up at SAR 32, recording the highest close since January 2016.

SPPC gained 4.4% to SAR 29.75, with over 20 million shares traded, the highest volume in five years.
