TASI sheds 2.2% to 12,322 points, turnover at SAR 7.4 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 2.2%, or 282 points, to 12,322 points today, June 12. Total turnover hit SAR 7.4 billion.
The slump was in line with the decline in global stock and oil markets last week.
Market Index
Nearly all stocks ended the session in the red, led by oil giant Saudi Aramco that plunged 3% to SAR 39.20 amid traded volume of 7.3 million shares.
Al Rajhi Bank, Saudi National Bank and SABIC logged losses between 1% and 2%. Alujain dropped 9% to SAR 63.
Savola, Chemanol Tasnee, SAIB, Saudi Tadawul Group, Dar Al Arkan, Saudi Kayan and Bahri declined between 3% and 6%.
SIECO and Arab Sea ended today’s session limit-down.

On the other hand, stc was the top gainer, with its shares rising by 7% to SAR 107. The stock saw active trading of 19 million shares, with a value of SAR 2.05 billion, via 37,000 transactions.
stc board of directors recommended increasing the company’s capital by 150% through bonus shares offering.
Albilad Gold ETF rose 2% to SAR 10.26, amid trading of 215,000 units.
