TASI falls more than 500 points to below 11,300
Saudi Arabia's benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 4.4%, or 525 points, to 11,299 points today, June 19, recording the lowest close since December 2021.
The fall is the highest in percentage terms since November 2021.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 6.3 billion during the period.
The market decline coincides with the fall in global markets and oil prices.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank fell 5% to SAR 82.20, while Saudi Aramco shed 4% to SAR 36.95.
SABIC slipped 2% to SAR 101 despite the company's board announcing a cash dividend of SAR 2.25 per share for H1 2022.
Saudi National Bank declined 5% to SAR 62.80, recording the lowest close in six months.
