TASI rises 0.9% to 11,864 points, turnover hits one-month high at SAR 8 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.9%, or 103 points, higher at 11,864 points today, July 20.
Total turnover reached a one-month high of nearly SAR 8 billion.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank rose more than 3% to SAR 87.50 amid trading of about 8.7 million shares.
Alinma Bank, Arab National Bank, Almarai, SABB, Bank AlJazira, Etihad Etisalat and Jarir increased between 1% and 4%.
Almunajem rose 9.6% to close at SAR 69.90.
MIS and Al Abdullatif were the top gainers.
Company Prices
On the other hand, SABIC fell 1% to SAR 98.20.
Insurance companies were among the top decliners, with UCA and SAICO leading the pack.
Allianz SF, CHUBB, Watania, Al Alamiya, Arabia Insurance and Buruj fell between 4% and 8%.
