TASI falls 0.2% to 12,622 points, turnover at SAR 7.4 bln

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.2%, or 25 points, lower at 12,622 points today, Aug. 18.

Total turnover reached nearly SAR 7.4 billion.

Saudi Aramco fell 1% to SAR 39.50.

Al Othaim Markets declined more than 4% to SAR 121.60 as its net profit missed Q2 2022 estimates.

SRMG was the top decliner, falling more than 8% to SAR 210.

Malath Insurance closed at SAR 15.98 (-7%) after the company reported losses of SAR 7.2 million in Q2 2022.

On the other hand, Al Rajhi Bank rose 2% to SAR 90.90 amid trading of about 8.5 million shares.

Saudi Electricity, Maaden, Jabal Omar, Dar Al Arkan, Bahri, Zain KSA, Jarir and Seera increased between 1% and 3%.
