TASI drops 1.4% to 12,283 points, turnover at SAR 8.3 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.4%, or 172 points, lower at 12,283 points today, Aug. 31.
Total turnover reached SAR 8.3 billion.
MSCI Inc. implemented changes today to Saudi constituents as per its August 2022 semi-annual index review.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco fell 2% to SAR 37.50 amid trading of about nine million shares.
SABIC, Tasnee, Saudi Kayan, Advanced, ACWA Power, Alujain, Banque Saudi Fransi, SABB, Yansab and SIIG declined between 1% and 4%.
SABIC Agri-Nutrients plunged 5% to SAR 174.
Alamar closed at SAR 120 (- 1%) after the end of the eligibility for cash dividends.
