TASI rises 0.9% to 11,940 points, turnover at SAR 4.5 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.9%, or 106 points, higher at 11,940 points today, Sept. 11.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 4.5 billion.
The index’s positive movement aligns with global markets and the rise in oil prices last Friday.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank closed at SAR 37.10 (+2%) and SAR 86.90 (+1%), respectively.
Saudi National Bank, Alinma Bank, Maaden, SABIC, Bank Albilad and Sipchem rose between 1% and 2%.
Al Hammadi gained more than 2% to SAR 43.40 after announcing cash dividends.
Lazurde was the top gainer, closing at SAR 16.32 amid active trading of about 1.5 million shares.
