TASI falls 0.5% to 11,830 points, turnover at SAR 7 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.5%, or 64 points, lower at 11,830 points today, Sept. 15.
Total turnover reached SAR 7 billion.
The index went up more than 100 points earlier in the day to cross 12,000 points but gave up the lead later.
Global index provider FTSE Russell will implement changes to the FTSE Saudi Arabia Inclusion Index Series, based on its 2022 semi-annual review, by the close of trading on Friday, Sept. 16.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank fell 1% to SAR 36.50 and SAR 87.60, respectively, amid active trading.
SABIC, SABIC Agri-Nutrients, Saudi Kayan, Elm, NADEC, eXtra, Dallah Healthcare and SADAFCO declined between 2% and 4%.
BinDawood Holding hit an all-time low to close down 7% to SAR 71.20.
Southern Cement closed at SAR 55.80 (-2%) after the end of the eligibility for cash dividends.
