TASI rises 0.7% to 11,487 points, turnover at SAR 4.9 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.7%, or 82 points, higher at 11,487 points today, Oct. 2.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 4.9 billion.
The index rose for the fourth consecutive session, as total gains reached about 600 points.
Market Index
Majority of shares rose, led by Al Rajhi Bank, advancing 1% to SAR 82.50.
SABB, Riyadh Bank, Bank Albilad, SABIC, Jabal Omar, Alinma Bank and Almarai increased between 1% and 3%.
Dar Al Arkan jumped more than 6% to SAR 16.88, recording the highest close in 13 years.
Saudi German Health was the top gainer, closing at SAR 29.90 with about 2.7 million shares traded, the highest in more than a year.
