TASI closes marginally lower at 11,406, turnover hits lowest since April 2020
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.1%, or 16 points, lower at 11,406 points today, Oct. 16.
Total turnover reached SAR 3.2 billion, the lowest since April 2020.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco fell more than 1% to SAR 35.
Saudi Electricity and ACWA Power declined 2% to SAR 25.50 and SAR 157.20, respectively.
Salama Insurance and Alhokair Group hit an all-time low at SAR 13.34 and SAR 18.06, respectively.

On the other hand, Al Rajhi Bank rose less than 1% to SAR 81.70.
Zain KSA went up 2% to SAR 12.68 amid trading of about 11.4 million shares.
The telco announced the transfer of ownership of one of its subsidiaries, Zain Business Ltd, to the Public Investment Fund (PIF) at a nominal value of SAR 10,000.
The company signed an agreement to transfer ownership of 8,069 towers for SAR 3.026 billion, expecting to achieve a capital gain of SAR 2.2 billion.
Savola, Jabal Omar, Almarai, Etihad Etisalat and solutions increased between 1 and 3%.
