TASI surges 1.4% to cross 11,950 points, turnover at SAR 5.7 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.4%, or 169 points, higher at 11,964 points today, Oct. 20.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 5.7 billion.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank rose 2% to SAR 87.70.
Riyad Bank, Saudi National Bank, Jarir, Etihad Etisalat and Tadawul Group gained between 2% and 5%.
MEPCO climbed 5% to SAR 53.70 amid active trading of about 1.5 million shares. The company has started working on the initial phase of the new SAR 1.5 billion cardboard paper factory project.
Company Prices
On the other hand, SABB declined by more than 2% despite its third quarter of 2022 profit rising about 58%.
Almarai was the top decliner, falling nearly 3 % to SAR 56.
