TASI falls 0.8% to 11,439 points, turnover at SAR 4.9 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.8%, or 91 points, lower at 11,439 points today, Nov. 3.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 4.9 billion.
The benchmark index fell in tandem with global markets following the US Federal Reserve’s decision to hike interest rates by 75 basis points.
The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) also increased its repo and reverse repo rates by 75 basis points each.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank fell 2% to SAE 84.30.
Alinma Bank, Bank Albilad, Banque Saudi Fransi, Riyad Bank and Bank AJazira declined between 1% and 3%.
stc closed at SAR 39.25 (-2%) after the end of the eligibility of cash dividends to shareholders.
Aslak slipped more than 3% to SAR 28.60 after Q3 2022 profit fell to SAR 3 million.
Company Prices
On the other hand, Alujain rose 8% to SAR 48.95.
Alkhorayef Water increased 2% to SAR 134.20 after announcing cash dividends to shareholders.
