TASI rises 0.3% to 10,796, turnover at SAR 3.6 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.3%, or 30 points, higher at 10,796 points today, Jan. 24, recording the highest close in nearly two months.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 3.6 billion.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank rose 1% to SAR 33.20 and SAR 79.50, respectively.
Advanced, Tadawul Group, Saudi Kayan, Saudi Cement, Sipchem, Maharah and Seera increased between 1 and 4%.
Arabian Drilling recorded the highest closing since listing at SAR 137 (+5%).
Gulf General was the top gainer, closing at SAR 7.61.

On the other hand, Jabal Omar declined 1% to SAR 18.06. The developer received an order issued by Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority to execute the Appeal Committee for Zakat and Tax Violations and Disputes’ decision for 2012 to 2018, at a total value of SAR 357 million.
