TASI closes 1.2% up at 11,164 points ahead of Eid Al Fitr
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) ended the last session during Ramadan 1.3%, or 131 points, higher at 11,164 points, with a traded value of nearly SAR 5.1 billion.
The benchmark index will close starting today, April 17 and resume trading on April 25.
Market Index
Aramco jumped 5% to SAR 34.65 after almost 13 million shares changed hands.
Giant petrochemical producer, SABIC added 1% to SAR 92.
ACWA Power, Emaar EC, Savola, Elm, Sulaiman Al Habib, Tadawul Group and Banque Saudi Fransi gained between 2% and 5%.
Almunajem closed 2% higher at SAR 60, driven by the company’s announcement of a net profit of SAR 82 million for Q1 2023.

The Securities Depository Center Co. (Edaa) applied today, April 17, the stock split measures resulting from adjusting the face value of Al Kathiri Holding Co.’s shares to the accounts of eligible holders.
Saudi Ceramics shed 7% to SAR 31.65 as the company posted a 71% tumble in Q1 2023 net profit to SAR 14.7 million.
