TASI rises more than 100 points to 11,265, turnover at SAR 6.3 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.9%, or 102 points, higher at 11,265 points today, April 25, in the first session post-Eid holidays.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 6.3 billion.
Market Index
Aramco rose 4% to SAR 36, recording the highest close in six months. Total transactions reached about 13 million shares.
Al Rajhi Bank closed at SAR 77.10 (+1%).
SABIC, stc, Almarai, SABIC Agri-Nutrients and Etihad Etisalat gained between 2% and 4%.
Al Othaim jumped 6% to SAR 144.40, recording the highest close since listing. The company’s board recommended a 10-for-1 stock split.
Tihama was the top gainer, rising 8%.
