TASI falls 0.3% to 11,271, turnover at SAR 6.3 bln

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.3%, or 36 points, lower at 11,271 points today, April 27.

Total turnover reached nearly SAR 6.3 billion.

Al Rajhi Bank declined 2% to SAR 76.80, with nearly 5.7 million shares traded. The bank reported a net profit of SAR 4.15 billion in Q1 2023, which missed analysts’ average estimates.

SABIC, Saudi National Bank, Banque Saudi Fransi, SIIG, Saudi Kayan, and Sipchem fell between 1% and 3%.

Anaam was the top decliner, down 5% to SAR 26.55.

On the other hand, Tanmiah Food rose 3% to SAR144.20 after announcing a cash dividend of SAR 3.5 per share for 2022.

Salama was the top gainer, rising 9% to SAR 17.38.
