TASI gains 0.4% to 11,305 points, turnover at SAR 6.1 bln

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.4%, or 49 points, higher at 11,305 points today, May 9.

 

Total turnover reached almost SAR 6.1 billion.

Market Index

Aramco rose 3% to close at SAR 33.60 as nearly 20 million shares were traded. The company announced its Q1 2023 financial results, dividends, and a mechanism for performance-linked dividends.

 

Bahri gained almost 2% to SAR 31.70 after announcing Q1 2023 financial results.

 

Shares of UCA, Saudi Enaya, Al Sagr, Ash-Sharqiyah and Amana Insurance went nearly limit up.

On the other hand, Almunajem Foods closed at SAR 61 (-2%) following the end of the eligibility for cash dividends.

 

Zain KSA closed almost limit down at SAR 14.52. The telco announced a profit of SAR 563 million in Q1 2023, of which SAR 532 million was recognized as a net gain from the sale and leaseback of towers.
