TASI falls 0.2% to 11,206 points, turnover at SAR 6.9 bln

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.2%, or 24 points, lower at 11,206 points today, May 16.

 

Total turnover reached almost SAR 6.9 billion.

Market Index

Saudi Aramco declined by more than 2% to SAR 32.40.

 

Dar Al Arkan, BinDawood, MARAFIQ, Care, Arab Drilling and Shaker fell between 1% and 3%.

 

Jarir closed at SAR 164.20 (-2%) following the end of the eligibility for cash dividends to shareholders.

 

Theeb slipped 2% to SAR 74.10 after the company announced Q1 2023 results.

On the other hand, Astra rose nearly limit up following the announcement of Q1 2023 results.

 

For the second consecutive day, Saudi German Health hit almost 10% at SAR 50.50, recording the highest close in five years. About 2.4 million shares were exchanged.
