TASI rises 0.6% to 11,344 points, turnover at SAR 6.7 bln

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.6%, or 67 points, higher at 11,344 points today, May 18.

 

Total turnover reached almost SAR 6.7 billion.

Market Index

Saudi Aramco rose 1% to SAR 32.40. Saudi National Bank closed at SAR 38 (+3%).

 

Al Rajhi Takaful, 2P, BinDawood, Alujain, Aldawaa, Savola and Eastern Cement gained between 4% and 6%.

 

Tawuniya was the top gainer, rising 8% to close an all-time high at SAR 126.20.

On the other hand, Southern Cement, Alsaif Gallery and Sinad Holding declined between 1 %and 2% following the disclosure of Q1 2023 financial results.

 

Jabal Omar fell 3% to SAR 23.62, as the number of shares exchanged reached nearly 11 million.
