TASI falls 1.1% to 11,014 points, turnover at SAR 12 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.1%, or 126 points, lower at 11,014 points today, May 31.
Total turnover reached almost SAR 11.8 billion.
MSCI Inc. implemented the changes today according to its quarterly review of its indices.
Market Index
Majority of the share declined, led by Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank by 1% to SAR 31.50 and SAR 70.70, respectively.
Saudi National Bank, Saudi Kayan, SABB, Tasnee, Etihad Etisalat, Elm, Mouwasat, Saudi Electricity, Dar Al Arkan, Riyad Bank and Alujain fell between 1% and 4%.
SPIMACO was the top decliner, falling 5%.
Company Prices
Meanwhile, Jarir rose 6% to SAR 17.60 after applying the par value reduction and adjusting the previous closing price to SAR 16.6. About 20 million shares were traded.
Al-Baha increased by 1% after the company’s board recommended a stock split.
