TASI rises 0.2% to 11,317 points, turnover at SAR 6.7 bln

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.2%, or 23 points, higher at 11,317 points today, June 6.
Total turnover reached almost SAR 6.7 billion.
Market Index
Maaden, ACWA Power, Savola and Alinma Bank rose between 1% and 3%.
Al Othaim gained 8% to close at SAR 14.80, recording the highest closing since listing. About 13.5 million shares were traded during the day.
The company’s shareholders approved reducing the stock’s par value from SAR 10 to SAR 1 during the extraordinary general meeting. In addition, Tadawul said that the fluctuation rate will be calculated based on a share price of SAR 13.68.
Elm, MARAFIQ, solutions, and Budget Saudi jumped between 4% and 7%, recording the highest closings since their listings.
