TASI falls 0.2% to 11,592 points, turnover at SAR 8.5 bln

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.2%, or 27 points, lower at 11,592 points today, July 5.

Total turnover reached almost SAR 8.5 billion.

Al Rajhi Bank and Saudi National Bank fell less than 1%.

Banque Saudi Fransi, Riyad Bank, Etihad Etisalat, SABIC, MARAFIQ, Sulaiman Al Habib, Almarai, Tawuniya, and Saudi Electricity declined between 1% and 3%.

Al Arabiya and Saudi Ground Services closed at SAR 175 (-6%) and SAR 36.65 (-5%), respectively.

On the other hand, MEDGULF went almost limit up to close at SAR 12.32, with about 4.4 million shares traded.

Al-Baha rose 5% to SAR 0.20 after shareholders approved reducing the stock’s par value from SAR 10 to SAR 0.10.

Electrical Industries gained 6% to SAR 37.05.
