TASI falls 0.5% to 11,636, turnover at SAR 5.4 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 0.5%, or 56 points, to11,636 points today, Aug.1, the lowest close in about a month.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 5.4 billion.
The index declined for the fourth session in a row, recording losses of 270 points.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank slipped 1% to SAR 73.90 amid trading of nearly 8 million shares.
Najran Cement fell more than 2% after the company's Q2 2023 profit dropped 45% year-on-year to SAR 7.4 million.
Al Sagr closed at SAR 16.28 (-3%) after the insurance company started the creditors' objection period for its merger with Gulf Union Alahlia.
East Pipes edged down more than 3%.
