TASI rises 1.1% to 11,546, turnover at SAR 4.6 bln

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.1%, or 122 points, higher at 11,546 points today, Aug. 13.

 

Total turnover reached almost SAR 4.6 billion.

Market Index

Al Rajhi Bank, Aramco, SABIC and Saudi National Bank increased between 1% and 2%.

 

Bupa Arabia and Arabian Pipes rose 3% to SAR 186 and SAR 70, respectively, after announcing their Q2 2023 financial results.

 

Etihad Atheeb went almost limit up to SAR 84.30. The telco swung to a net profit of SAR 52.6 million in the first quarter ended June 30, 2023.

On the other hand, Malath Insurance fell 9.9% to SAR 22.56.

 

Theeb closed at SAR 74.50 (-5%) after the company’s Q2 2023 profit declined 31% year-on-year.
