TASI falls 0.7% to 11,491 points, turnover at SAR 8.8 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) declined 0.7%, or 84 points, to 11,491 points today, Aug. 31.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 8.8 billion.
MSCI Inc. implemented its changes to Tadawul today according to its quarterly review of indices carried out on Aug. 11.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank and Saudi National Bank declined 1% to SAR 72.20 and SAR 35.75, respectively.
SABIC, stc, Jarir, Dar Al Arkan, Banque Saudi Fransi, Maaden, Petro Rabigh, Advanced, Sulaiman Al Habib, Tadawul Group, Saudi Electricity and Saudi Kayan fell between 1% and 3%.
Almarai and ACWA Power lost nearly 5%.

Al Sagr closed nearly limit up to SAR 17 after shareholders disapproved the merger proposal with Gulf Union AlAhlia.
Wafrah, Etihad Atheeb and NCLE shares rose between 5% and 10%.
