TASI rises 0.8% to 10,622 points, turnover at SAR 5.1 bln

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.8%, or 79 points, higher at 10,622 points today, Oct. 16.

Total turnover reached nearly SAR 5.1 billion.

Savola was the top gainer, rising 9.9% to close at SAR 38.85 with 1.2 million shares traded. The company is considering selling its stake in Almarai, according to a media report.

Saudi National Bank, stc, ACWA Power, SABIC Agri-Nutrients, Cenomi Centers and Bupa Arabia rose between 1% and 6%.
