TASI drops 1.5% to below 10,500 points, turnover at SAR 3.3 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.5%, or 158 points, lower at 10,496 points today, Oct. 22.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 3.3 billion.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank lost more than 2% to reach SAR 64, as 4 million shares worth SAR 250 million changed hands.
ACWA Power, Savola, Bank Albilad, Alinma Bank, Saudi Awwal Bank, Riyad Bank, Tasnee and Banque Saudi Fransi ended the trading today with a decline between 2% and 6%.
Riyadh Cables was the top loser as it slumped 7% to SAR 68.

Arab National Bank rose 1% to SAR 23.18, amid a trading volume of nearly 1.7 million shares. The bank posted a 17% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profits during Q3 2023.
Zain KSA jumped 2% to SAR 13.32. The company received a request from the Public Investment Fund (PIF) to purchase the telco’s remaining 20% stake in Golden Lattice Investment Co. for SAR 726 million.
Thimar shares topped today’s gainers as they added 10% to reach SAR 16.12, amid trading of about 5.3 million shares.
Meanwhile, Mulkia REIT Fund closed at SAR 6 (-3%), as it traded ex-dividend.
