TASI rises 0.6% to 12,037 points, turnover at SAR 6.4 bln
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.6%, or 70 points, higher at 12,037 points today, Jan. 1, recording the highest close since October 2022.
Total turnover reached almost SAR 6.4 billion.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank rose nearly 1% to SAR 33.05 and SAR 86.80, respectively.
Alinma Bank rose more than 3% to SAR 39.90, with more than 9 million shares valued at over SAR 370 million. The bank’s board recommended a 25% capital increase through a bonus issue.
Chubb and Amiantit were top gainers, rising almost 10%.
Maaden closed at SAR 49.80 (+3%).
