TASI jumps 1.8% to 12,145 points, turnover at SAR 10B
Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) surged 1.8%, or 185 points, to close at 12,145 points today, Jan. 4. The benchmark index logged its highest close since September 2022.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 10 billion.
Market Index
SNB jumped 7% to SAR 42.75, as 14.5 million shares changed hands with a value exceeding SAR 640 million.
Al Rajhi Bank gained 3% to close at SAR 87.50.
Tadawul Group went limit-up to SAR 212.60, recording the highest close since November 2022, amid trading of about 1.8 million shares with a value of SAR 370 million.
Alinma Bank, Almarai, Savola Group, Jabal Omar, Alandalus, and Al-Babtain ended the trading today with increases ranging between 3% and 6%.

SABIC slumped 2% to close at SAR 80.60.
Yamama Cement, Umm Al-Qura Cement, Riyadh Cement, and Saudi Cement fell by rates ranging between 1% and 3%.
A number of companies, including cement producers, announced the financial impact after Saudi Aramco revised the prices feedstock and fuel.
Meanwhile, Alinma REIT Retail Fund rose by 4% to SAR 4.87, following the announcement of cash dividends.
