TASI falls 2.2% to below 12,000, turnover at SAR 9.5B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 2.2%, or 267 points, lower at 11,986 points today, Jan. 30.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 9.5 billion.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank and Saudi National Bank declined to SAR 88.10 (-3%) and SAR 42.10 (-2%), respectively.
Shares of East Pipes, Arabian Drilling, ADES, and Arabian Pipes went almost limit down.
Saudi Steel Pipe, Takween, SISCO, SAL, Saudi Electricity and SIIG fell between 5% and 9%.

On the other hand, Saudi Aramco rose less than 1% to close at SAR 31.30, with about 14 million shares traded. The company received a directive from the Ministry of Energy to maintain its maximum sustainable capacity (MSC) at 12 million barrels per day (mbpd) and not to continue increasing to 13 mbpd.
Jarir rose 1% after Q4 2023 net profit rose 2% year-on-year to SAR 273.2 million.
Saudi German Health recorded the highest closing since its listing at SAR 102 (+5%), with about 2.4 million shares worth more than SAR 240 million changing hands.
