TASI rises 0.7% to 12,296 points, marks highest close in 18 months
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.7%, or 87 points, higher at 12,296 points today, Feb. 12, recording the highest close in 18 months.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 11 billion.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco rose more than 1% to SAR 30.90.
ACWA Power closed at SAR 250 (+3%), with about one million shares worth nearly SAR 250 million traded.
Salama and GO went almost limit up to end the day at SAR 24.70 and SAR 83.40, respectively.
Jamjoom Pharma and Elm recorded the highest close since listing at SAR 155.60 (+10%) and SAR 990 (+5%), respectively.

On the other hand, Al Rajhi Bank declined less than 1% to close at SAR 89.80.
SADAFCO was the top decliner, falling 8% to SAR 360, with about 120,000 shares changing hands.
Saudi Chemical, Arab National Bank, Thob Al Aseel, Al-Babtain, and Takween declined between 3% and 6%.
Tihama fell 3% to SAR 15.72 after the third-quarter net loss widened by 55.6% to SAR 14 million.
Dar Al Arkan closed at SAR 12.66 (-2%).
Alkhabeer REIT declined 2% to SAR 6.40 after going ex-dividend.
