TASI rises 0.6% to 12,602 points, turnover at SAR 7.4B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.6%, or 70 points, higher at 12,602 points today, Feb. 27.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 7.4 billion.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank and Saudi Aramco rose less than 1% to SAR 89.90 and SAR 31.95, respectively.
ACWA Power, Bank Albilad, Maaden, SABIC, Elm, Dar Al Arkan, and Saudi Kayan increased between 1% and 3%.
Avalon Pharma surged 30% on its debut to close at 106.60. Less than 9,000 shares traded valued below SAR 1 million.
SAB closed at SAR 40.75 (+1%) after the bank board of directors recommended repurchasing up to 4.7 million shares and allocating them to the employee stock incentive plan.
Saudi Steel Pipe and BATIC went almost limit up to close at SAR 45.95 and SAR 2.56, respectively.
