TASI edges up 0.1% to 12,611 points, turnover at SAR 8.4B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.1%, or 10 points, higher at 12,611 points today, Feb. 28.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 8.4 billion.
Market Index
ACWA Power, Riyad Bank, SRMG, Jabal Omar, Banque Saudi Fransi and Tadawul Group increased between 1% and 3%.
Zain KSA rose 5% to SAR 15, with about 14 million shares worth SAR 210 million traded.
SADAFCO climbed 2% to SAR 383. The company announced a cash dividend of SAR 6 per share for the first half ended September 30, 2023.
Astra Industrial closed at SAR 164 (+7%), recording the highest closing since its listing on Tadawul. Nearly 750,000 shares changed hands. The company's Q4 2023 profit rose to SAR 134.3 million, beating market expectations.
The newly-listed Avalon Pharma was the top gainer, surging 30% to close at SAR 138.40.
