TASI rises 0.2% to 12,631 points, turnover at SAR 13B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.2%, or 19 points, higher at 12,631 points today, Feb. 29.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 13 billion.
Market Index
ACWA Power closed an all-time high at SAR 264 (+2%), with about 1.3 million shares traded. The company’s Q4 2023 results were higher-than-market estimates, in addition to the announcement of cash dividend and bonus issue.
Al Rajhi Takaful and Zahrat Al Waha closed at SAR 84.70 (+10%) and SAR 42.40 (+6%) following the announcement of Q4 2023 financial results.
Avalon Pharma jumped 30% for the third consecutive session to SAR 179.80, with about 2.6 million shares traded. The share prices are up 120% compared to the listing price of SAR 82.
Luberef rose 4% to SAR 168, recording the highest close since its debut on the market.
