TASI rises 0.3% to 12,762 points, turnover at SAR 9B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.3% higher, or 34 points, at 12,762 points today, March 17.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 9 billion.
The benchmark index reached a new high not seen since June 2022, surging nearly 800 points or 6.6% since the start of the year.
Market Index
ACWA Power surged 9% to SAR 353, recording its highest close since market debut.
SAIC jumped 10% to close at SAR 37.40, with about 6 million shares traded. The company announced Q4 2023 results and cash dividend for 2023.
FIPCO climbed 3% to SAR 59.40.
Wafrah, Sumou, Equipment House, Saudi Steel Pipes, UCA, Aslak and Knowledge City increased between 8% and 10%.

BATIC, Salama Insurance and Arabian Shield fell between 2 and 4% after announcing Q4 2023 results.
Al Maather REIT rose 2% to SAR 9.22 following dividend payout to unitholders for H2 2023.
