TASI falls 0.5% to 12,739 points, turnover at SAR 8.2B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.5%, or 65 points, lower at 12,739 points today, March 20.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 8.2 billion.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank each declined 1% to SAR 31.20 and SAR 84.20, respectively.
Maaden, Dar Al Arkan, Elm, Mobily, Arabian Drilling, Sulaiman Al Habib, and Emaar EC fell between 1% and 3%.
Saudi Steel Pipe was the top decliner, falling 8% to SAR 71.80. About 3.5 million shares worth more than SAR 260 million changed hands.
Qassim Cement and Theeb closed at SAR 58.50 (-2%) and SAR 68.60 (-1%), respectively, after going ex-dividend.

On the other hand, Saudi Cable rose nearly 10% to SAR 62.90 amid trading of about 100,000 shares. The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) lifted the trading suspension on shares today.
UCA rose more than 1% to SAR 11 following the announcement of Q2 2023 results.
Al Maathar REIT and Al Ahli REIT 1 closed at SAR 9.06 (-4%) and SAR 8.52 (-3%), respectively, after going ex-dividend.
