TASI ends Ramadan on high note, rises 0.7% to 12,705 points
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.7%, or 83 points, higher at 12,705 points today, April 4.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 8 billion.
Trading will halt at the end of today’s session for the Eid Al-Fitr holidays and will resume on April 14.
Market Index
Saudi National Bank rose 1% to SAR 41.20.
SABIC gained 3% to SAR 88.40, with more than 6 million shares traded.
Al Akaria, NCLE, First Mills, Sipchem, Sulaiman Al Habib, and Etihad Etisalat increased between 3% and 7%.

On the other hand, Saudi Aramco fell less than 1% at SAR 30.30.
ADES and Arabian Drilling closed at SAR 18.88 (-5%) and SAR 161.80 (-4%), respectively. In separate statements, the two companies announced the suspension of contracts for some offshore drilling rigs.
CATRION closed at SAR 127.80 (-2%) after going ex-dividend.
