TASI surges 2.6% to 11,855 points, total turnover at SAR 54B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 2.6%, or 295 points, to close at 11,855 points today, June 9.
Total turnover reached about SAR 54 billion.
As many as 1,231 negotiated deals, comprising nearly 1.55 billion shares worth SAR 42.1 billion, were witnessed on the Aramco counter as part of its secondary share offering.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco rose more than 1% to SAR 28.60, with about 1.73 billion shares worth SAR 47.4 billion changing hands.
Al Rajhi Bank and Saudi National Bank jumped to SAR 81.80 (+4%) and SAR 36.55 (+3%), respectively.
Miahona was the top gainer, rising 18% to SAR 17.66 amid trading of about 22 million shares.
