TASI gains 0.3% to 12,039 points, turnover at SAR 7.3B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) gained 0.3%, or 37 points, to close at 12,039 points today, Oct. 16. Total turnover reached nearly SAR 7.3 billion.
Market Index
Heavyweight lender SNB added 1% to close at SAR 35.20, while ACWA Power rose 2% to SAR 444.
Eastern Pipes, Riyadh Cement, GO, Rasan, Yanbu Cement, and City Cement ended the trading today with increases ranging between 3% and 6%.
Eastern Cement touched the daily ceiling to close at SAR 37.40.

Meanwhile, oil major Saudi Aramco and blue chip lender Al Rajhi Bank declined nearly 1% rach to SAR 27.10 and SAR 84.90, respectively.
Al-Baha continued to sink for the fourth consecutive session, closing at SAR 0.29 (-9%), bringing its losses during the period to about 31%.
The stock witnessed heavy trading of about 1.26 billion shares, the highest since 2011, exceeding 42% of the company’s total 2.97 billion shares, with a value of about SAR 380 million.
Al-Baha posted a profit of SAR 389,000 for Q3 2024.
