TASI falls 0.6% to 12,233 pts, total turnover at SAR 5.8B

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.6%, or 69 points, lower at 12,233 points today, Feb. 26.
Total turnover reached about SAR 5.8 billion.

Market Index

Saudi Aramco fell by 1% to close at SAR 27.20.
 
SABIC declined by 2% to SAR 64, with nearly 3.2 million shares changing hands. The company’s net loss widened to SAR 1.89 billion in Q4 2024.
 
Yansab closed at SAR 35.25 (-4%) after going ex-dividend.
 
Saudi Ceramics, Riyadh Development, Maaden, SADAFCO, SIIG, Dallah Healthcare, and Almarai fell between 2% and 5%.

On the other hand, stc rose by 4% to SAR 46.3. Nearly 16 million shares valued at SAR 730 million were traded.
 

The telco’s Q4 2024 net profit surged nearly five-fold to SAR 13.5 billion. The company announced quarterly and special cash dividends of SAR 2.55 per share.

 
CHUBB and Naseej were top gainers, each jumping 10%.
 
Al Maather REIT rose by 2% to SAR 9.40 following the announcement of cash dividends to unitholders.
