The Invest Saudi Initiative by the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) has hosted over 60 events in 20 countries since its launch, aiming to promote more than 15 target sectors, in partnership with 50 private and public agencies.
Invest Saudi serves as an umbrella, under which all private and public agencies are promoted on the international level, Al-Eqtisadiah reported, citing Ibrahim Al Suwayel, deputy governor for Investors’ Services and Consultancy.
“SAGIA has narrowed the registration requirements for foreign investors licenses to just the financial statements and commercial registration,” Al Suwayel said.
“The authority is working to ease business through enhancing regulations and procedures, and developing the necessary infrastructure for creating an attractive environment for investors,” he added.
