10 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Tuesday.

 

1) Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SRMG) posted a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 165.5 million for H1 2019, a rise of 70 percent year-on-year (YoY) driven by higher gross profit and revenue.

 

2) Middle East Specialized Cables Co. (MESC) trimmed net losses after zakat and tax by 52.2 percent year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 16.6 million for H1 2019, due to improved profit margins and lower expenses.

 

3) Jadwa REIT Al Haramain Fund reported a net profit of SAR 9.01 million (SAR 0.14 per unit) for the first half of 2019, down by 23 percent year-on-year (YoY).

 

4) Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries and Medical Appliances Corp. (SPIMACO) reported a net loss after zakat and tax of SAR 207.79 million for the first half of 2019.

 

5) Alujain Corp.’s financial statements for the period ending on June 30, 2019 will be delayed.

 

6) Red Sea International Co. widened its net loss after zakat and tax by 80.6 percent year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 45.5 million for H1 2019 due to lower gross profit and gross profit margins.

 

7) Dur Hospitality Co.'s net profit after zakat and tax declined 58.6 percent year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 13.35 million in the first half of 2019.

 

8) Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co. posted a net loss after zakat and tax of SAR 21.2 million for the nine-month period ending on June 30, 2019, versus a net profit of SAR 5.4 million a year earlier.

 

9) Saudi Industrial Export Co. (SIECO) incurred net losses after zakat and tax of SAR 11.7 million in the first half of 2019, versus net earnings of SAR 12.9 million in year-earlier period.

 

10) Brent crude on Tuesday gained 3 cents to reach $59.77 per barrel whereas WTI Crude also remained flat at $56.21/bbl.
