Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Sunday.

 

1) Saudi Telecom Co. (STC) delayed talks to raise debt to fund the acquisition of Vodafone Group Plc’s stake in its Egyptian business due to the coronavirus outbreak.

 

2) Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SRMG) signed a media and advertising cooperation memorandum with the Health Endowment Fund to combat the coronavirus pandemic.

 

3) Al-Babtain Power and Telecommunication Co.’s Egypt-based affiliate, Al Babtain Power and Telecommunication Egypt, extended the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with the Saudi Egyptian Industrial Investment Co. (SEII) for 2 months until June 2, 2020.

 

4) The National Company for Glass Industries’ (Zoujaj) shareholders approved electing a new board of directors for the upcoming 3-year term, starting from April 9, 2020, until April 8, 2023.

 

5) Taiba Investment Co. will pay cash dividend for the fourth quarter of 2019 on April 9, 2020.

 

6) Alinma Bank will adopt electronic voting for its extraordinary general meeting (EGM) that will be held on April 8, 2020.

 

7) Al Ahsa Development Co.’s shareholders will vote, on April 27, on audited financial statements and audit report for the fiscal year 2019.

 

8) Brent crude on Friday gained $4.17 to reach $34.11 per barrel. WTI Crude increased $3.02 to reach $28.34/bbl.
