Saudi Railways Organization (SRO) will raise the number of weekly inter-station trips between its four stations in Riyadh, Dammam, Al Hofuf and Abqaiq by 31% to 350 trips from 272 trips.
The new schedule will commence from July 12, 2020, raising the number of available passenger seats to 62,000 from 47,000.
SRO resumed its trips from June 28, providing transportation between Riyadh and the Eastern Region, at 50% of the train capacity, as part of the preventive measures determined by the Public Transport Authority.
