Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Saudi Aramco) announced its domestic gasoline prices for the period from 1 July – 10 July. The value-added tax (VAT) will be increased to 15% from 5% as of tomorrow.
Saudi Aramco raised Octane 91 price to SAR 0.98 per liter for the period from 1-10 July from SAR 0.90 per liter in June. It also upped Octane 95 prices to SAR 1.18 per liter for the same period, compared to SAR 0.08 per liter in June.
Diesel prices were hiked to SAR 0.52 per liter from SAR 0.47 per liter. Kerosene prices were raised to SAR 0.7 per liter from SAR 0.64 per liter.
Last February, Saudi Aramco said starting from February 2020, domestic gasoline prices will be monthly updated on the 10th day of every month. The new prices will come into effect on the following day.
Local gasoline prices are subject to change, depending on the Kingdom’s export prices to international markets, Aramco added.
