Saudi Airlines Catering Co. (SACC) reported a marginal rise in revenue, driven by the resumption of domestic flights since June, CEO Wajdi Al Ghabban told Argaam in an exclusive on Sunday.

“The second quarter losses were mainly attributed to suspension of commercial operations, and commercial flights amid the COVID-19 pandemic precautionary measures,” Al Ghabban said.

Moreover, the company allocated provisions of SAR 46.8 million as of June 30, 2020, he added.

SACC reported a net loss after Zakat and tax of SAR 128.2 million for H1 2020, against a net profit of SAR 220.6 million a year earlier. It also incurred net losses of SAR 143.8 million in Q2 2020.
